The Executive Search team, led by Paul Wehner, is comprised of a Vice President of Business Development, Search Consultants, and Research Associates who aren’t just experienced, but passionate about finding top talent and linking them with the organizations who thrive from their leadership.

RCSN’s Boundary Spanning Leadership Consulting services are led by Senior Partner Donna Chrobot-Mason, PhD, whose efforts have helped organizations understand the boundaries hindering business performance to deliver better business results for their organizations.

Donna Chrobot-Mason, PhD, is Senior Partner for RCSN’s Boundary Spanning Leadership Consulting. Having pioneered new methods for developing strong leadership strategies to help organizations close gaps within their teams and build collaboration, she offers expertise in boundary spanning leadership services as well as individual and team-based leadership coaching to help our clients reap more from the leaders on their teams.

In addition to her role with RCSN, Donna serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati (UC). Her focus is on leadership across differences and strategies for creating organizational practices, policies, and a climate that support diversity and foster intergroup collaboration.

She holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Georgia. Donna teaches Masters and PhD courses in leadership and diversity as well as undergraduate courses for the Organizational Leadership program at UC.

Donna has published articles in such industry-renowned journals as the Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Group and Organization Management.

Her book (co-authored with Chris Ernst), “Boundary Spanning Leadership: Six Practices for Solving Problems, Driving Innovation, and Transforming Organizations,” was published by McGraw-Hill Professional in 2010. Since publishing this authoritative research, Donna has been invited to address numerous audiences including the Brookings Institute, FBI, EPA, IRS, Catholic Health Partners, and the International Leadership Association. Donna has also consulted with numerous organizations including Briggs and Stratton, Dayton Public Schools, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Emory University, and Forest City Enterprises. Additionally, she has lifetime certification to administer and interpret instruments in the 360 suite of measures developed and validated at the Center for Creative Leadership and has been trained as an executive leadership coach.

Anne Golden, M. Ed – Leadership & Coaching Consultant, Language & Speech

Anne Golden is a Cincinnati-based communication skills coach and intercultural trainer with 22 years of experience in the field. She has developed a wide variety of courses, coaching programs and workshops utilized by groups and individuals at multi-national corporations including Toyota, Nissan, General Electric, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Siemens Corporation, BAE Systems, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Verizon Wireless, Itochu Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, Hewlett-Packard, WILD Flavors, General Cable, Astra-Zeneca, and International Paper. She is a professionally-trained coach (Coaches Training Institute, San Rafael, California), and also a certified Compton accent modification trainer.

As a coach, Anne works with professionals on accent and pronunciation, speaking rhythm and speed, intonation, vocal image, sentence structure, non-verbal communication, and active listening skills.   Goals for clients include clearer, more effective communication at work, improved self-awareness, cultural dexterity, and professional credibility. Her clients include doctors, scientists, engineers, business managers and executives. She has coached and trained more than 400 individuals since 1997.

As an intercultural trainer, she has designed and delivered numerous workshops that focus on intercultural knowledge and competence, business etiquette, and effective communication skills for living in the United States and also Japan. Recently she has been asked to design and deliver a workshop on active listening skills for medical professionals who work with people who speak English as second language.

In addition to her current work as a coach and trainer, since 2016 Anne has served as Executive Director of the Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati, a non-profit organization that promotes the relationship between the United States and Japan in the local region. The organization has more than 100 member companies and also welcomes individuals and families who are interested in Japan.

Before moving to Cincinnati in 1997, Anne spent 5 years as a counselor for US Government education and training programs, and 3 years as an English teacher in a public high school in Kumamoto Prefecture (Japan). She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Bates College, and an M. Ed in Student Development in Higher Education from the University of Maine. She is originally from Augusta, Maine.

Nanette Polito – Success Coach & Coaching Consultant

Nanette Polito’s mission is to encourage individuals to clarify their vision, define their goals and create the success and life they only thought was a dream.

She has spent over 40 years in the business world. Starting as a factory worker in high school and now an entrepreneur.  In between, she was a manager for a bookkeeping department, managed two different customer service departments, one in manufacturing and the other a button company in New York City.    One of her favorite positions was when she moved to Los Angeles and became an Assistant to the owner of a major garment manufacturer with 100+ employees.  There she worked closely with the management of all departments. After relocating to the Midwest, she became a mortgage loan officer for 14 years, which lead to becoming the BNI Director of Mentoring and Training for the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Region 2001-2018.   In her career, she also facilitated in the starting of button manufacturing company and a Mortgage Company.

Nanette’s experience allows her to evaluate the needs of businesses.  With this knowledge, she educates business professionals, in terms of developing and growing their businesses.  Her passion is helping businesspeople understand ‘Why’ they do what they do and creating the vision of the business and life they want.  She teaches them how to develop and plan, set smart goals and how to network more effectively.  Her clients range from individual entrepreneurs to corporations.

She resides in Hebron Kentucky with her husband of 32 years Joe and their dog Ruby.  They have two children Christopher and Alexandra.  Her burning desire is just to have everyone around her be successful.

Jeremy Berberich – Senior Research Associate

Jeremy focuses on RCSN’s most difficult projects, helping to uncover the most esoteric information available. Jeremy started his professional career as an academic research librarian at Thomas More College. He later worked at Gateway Community and Technical College as a Library Administrator. Jeremy transitioned into higher education administration and is currently Director of Knowledge Management providing leadership for the areas of instutional research, planning, effectiveness and accreditation.

Jeremy studied Political Science at the University of Louisville. He then completed a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University. He is currently working on a Doctorate in Education at the University of Kentucky.

Mary A. Huelsman – Senior Search Consultant

Mary brings a unique combination of human resources and recruitment experience to RCSN’s executive search team. She started her career at TRW Automotive Worldwide in international compensation and benefits. After several years she joined Agency Rent-A-Car as a Recruiter where she advanced to Director of Human Resources. Over time she realized she wanted to focus her career in recruiting. This led her to work professionally for two healthcare organizations in Cleveland and later for a third in Cincinnati where she functioned as a Corporate Recruiter.

During her career Mary has also had the opportunity to function as a Human Resources and Recruiting Consultant. In these roles she provided talent acquisition expertise to companies in multiple industries including Information Technology, Plastics Manufacturing, Digital Imaging, Hospitality, Banking, Finance, Telecommunications and Distribution.

Mary joined RCSN in February 2013, and is one of our “first voices” with candidates to our clients, as she builds and develops candidate relationships, networks and pipelines.

When she isn’t recruiting Mary is a volunteer in many professional, community and church organizations. She also serves as a Program Manager for the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association’s Talent Acquisition Trends Committee. She is also, in her spare time, an Audio/Visual Artist and Potter.

Mary graduated cum laude from John Carroll University with a BA in Communications. She also has extensive training through AIRS and the Society for Human Resources Management, SHRM.

Julie conducts detailed research to identify the most promising candidates to fill corporate leadership positions. By leveraging her well-honed critical thinking skills, Julie is adept at cutting through the clutter to find highly qualified individuals that best align with the search project criteria. Prior to joining RCSN, Julie was a highly effective leader and manager at multiple ‘Big 6’ consulting firms, specializing in managing implementations of difficult and mission-critical information technology systems. She has experience in multiple industries, including manufacturing, real estate, construction, and distribution.

Julie has served as President and Treasurer of various non-profit organizations including St. Michael’s Christian School, Parents of Children Having Allergies, and the Association of Roman Catholic Home Educated Students. She also tutors high school students in multiple math subjects and SAT math preparation. Julie is a magna cum laude graduate from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she double majored in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems.

Miriam conducts in depth research and identifies only the most relevant and qualified senior level and executive candidates for key corporate roles. She has 10 years of experience in research, auditing, and consulting in higher education, financial services, the pharmaceutical industry as well as the legal profession. Originally from California, Miriam started her professional career as a Senior Auditor and Project Advisor at UCLA. She transitioned to Experian as a Senior Internal Auditor and continued her career with Watson Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Internal Auditor and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Consultant. In 2005 she moved from California to Cincinnati, where she now utilizes her background and experience in data mining and database management as a Senior Research Associate for RCSN. She further extended her research expertise by obtaining a paralegal certification and works, on a part-time basis, for a local law firm.

Miriam holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Liberal Studies and Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University San Bernardino and a Paralegal Certification from the University of Cincinnati. She enjoys playing soccer and spends most of her free time coaching and supporting her children’s extracurricular activities.

Wendy’s career started with IBM, where she was a Systems Engineer providing technical field support to large companies. She then joined Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where she maintained the computer systems used at all military medical clinics.

For several years, she played a significant leadership role in the Air Force community. While being stationed in Germany with her husband, she volunteered her time to the Wounded Warriors, Fisher House, and supported a large group of spouses who were also stationed overseas.

She now taps into that collective knowledge and experience to identify candidates who fulfill RCSN’s client leadership needs. Wendy is a Texas Tech University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. She enjoys volunteering her time to her children’s school and extracurricular activities.
