Paul is the visionary leader for RCSN. Through his leadership the firm has been able to win business with organizations of all sizes due to its research-based and customer-centric approach to working with clients. He established RCSN as an executive search and recruiting firm in 2003. He and his team of Search Consultants and Research Associates have worked with organizations in multiple industries seeking the right mid to senior level leaders for each client. He has long believed the right leaders working effectively as a team are at the heart of any successful enterprise.
In 2013 Paul responded to clients’ needs to develop their current leaders by bringing Donna Chrobot-Mason, Ph.D. to RCSN as a Senior Partner. Donna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Director of Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati. Donna’s addition led to rebranding the firm as RCSN Leadership Services, and the addition of eight Senior Leadership Consultants.
In addition to his 16 years of experience as the Senior Partner with RCSN, Paul has more than 30 years’ experience in different leadership roles in human resources and talent acquisition with the United States Air Force, Macy’s, Mead-Westvaco, British Petroleum and Fidelity Investments.
Paul recognizes the importance of community involvement. He has been active in the Cincinnati business community since he and his family relocated to Cincinnati in 2000. He was on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association for ten years. He started GCHRA’s Talent Acquisition Trends Committee and led it for seven years. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Cincinnati Regional, Northern Kentucky, Hispanic, European American and Indianapolis Chambers of Commerce, where he currently serves on multiple committees. He is a former member of the Board of Director’s for Toward Independence – a developmental disabilities (MRDD) organization. He also served as a Chair for the All for One Golf Committee at Xavier University for six years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Xavier.

Her book (co-authored with Chris Ernst), “Boundary Spanning Leadership: Six Practices for Solving Problems,Driving Innovation, and Transforming Organizations,” was published by McGraw-Hill Professional in 2010. Since publishing this authoritative research conducted over ten (10) years, Donna has addressed numerous audiences including the Brookings Institute, FBI, EPA, IRS, Catholic Health Partners, and the International Leadership Association. She has also consulted with numerous organizations including Briggs and Stratton, Dayton Public Schools, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Emory University, Milacron, and Forest City Enterprises. One of her most influential engagements was to help lead the United States’ 15-month transition in Iraq from a military operation to a sustainable diplomatic role using the proven principles of working across boundaries.
Donna has published articles in such industry-renowned journals as the Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Group and Organization Management. She has served on the editorial review board for the Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Business and Psychology.
As an Executive Coach of mid to senior level leaders, Donna has “Lifetime Certification” to administer and interpret instruments in the 360 suite of measures developed and validated at the Center for Creative Leadership. She developed her coaching skills by training with the Center for Coaching Certification (an ICF accredited program).
Donna serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati (UC), while also functioning as a Senior Partner with RCSN Leadership Services. Her focus is on leadership across differences and strategies for creating organizational practices, policies, and a climate that supports diversity and foster intergroup collaboration.
She holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Georgia. Donna teaches Masters and PhD courses in leadership and diversity as well as undergraduate courses for the Organizational Leadership program at UC.

Nick brings a unique blend of academic and industry experience and to RCSN’s leadership consulting services. He has deep expertise in team performance, leadership, applied research, and data analysis. Nick earned a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a minor in Statistics, Methods, and Measurement and a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver.
Nick’s academic research focuses on group dynamics, team performance, leader effectiveness, and organizational diversity. He has presented his research at national conferences and has published in leading journals including: The Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Group and Organization Management, and Small Group Research. He has given invited talks on these topics for groups at the VHA National Center for Organization Development (NCOD), Northeastern University, and Harvard University.
Nick’s has taught undergraduate and graduate coursework in psychology, statistics, and research methods at several institutions including The University of Illinois at Chicago, Harvard University, The University of California, San Diego, and The California School of Professional Psychology. He has supervised over 20 doctoral dissertations and master’s theses related to employee, team, leader, and organizational performance.
In addition to his academic experience, Nick has several years of experience working in a variety of internal HR and analyst roles as has worked as an independent consultant for several clients. Some of his many projects have included: creating and conducting custom workshops, designing and evaluating employee training programs, survey creation, administration, analysis, and reporting; various organizational research projects (employee and customer focused); and various data analytic projects (database creation, querying, and management, historical reporting, forecasting, statistical analyses).

Gayle’s 20+ year career has been in executive management, training and leadership development. She has held positions as Executive Director of four Cincinnati YMCAs and Metropolitan Director, serving as liaison for the Cincinnati Association to the United Way, where she ensured leadership compliance for funding, program innovation and evaluation.

She has spent over 40 years in the business world. Starting as a factory worker in high school and now an entrepreneur. In between, she was a manager for a bookkeeping department, managed two different customer service departments, one in manufacturing and the other a button company in New York City. One of her favorite positions was when she moved to Los Angeles and became an Assistant to the owner of a major garment manufacturer with 100+ employees. There she worked closely with the management of all departments. After relocating to the Midwest, she became a mortgage loan officer for 14 years, which lead to becoming the BNI Director of Mentoring and Training for the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Region 2001-2018. In her career, she also facilitated in the starting of button manufacturing company and a Mortgage Company.
Nanette’s experience allows her to evaluate the needs of businesses. With this knowledge, she educates business professionals, in terms of developing and growing their businesses. Mary brings a unique combination of human resources and recruitment experience to RCSN’s executive search team. She started her career at TRW Automotive Worldwide in international compensation and benefits. After several years she joined Agency Rent-A-Car as a Recruiter where she advanced to Director of Human Resources. Over time she realized she wanted to focus her career in recruiting. This led her to work professionally for two healthcare organizations in Cleveland and later for a third in Cincinnati where she functioned as a Corporate Recruiter.
During her career Mary has also had the opportunity to function as a Human Resources and Recruiting Consultant. In these roles she provided talent acquisition expertise to companies in multiple industries including Information Technology, Plastics Manufacturing, Digital Imaging, Hospitality, Banking, Finance, Telecommunications and Distribution.
Mary joined RCSN in February 2013, and is one of our “first voices” with candidates to our clients, as she builds and develops candidate relationships, networks and pipelines.
When she isn’t recruiting Mary is a volunteer in many professional, community and church organizations. She also serves as a Program Manager for the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association’s Talent Acquisition Trends Committee. She is also, in her spare time, an Audio/Visual Artist and Potter.

After a successful career in HR, where he held Human Resources leadership roles within the manufacturing / distribution, professional services, financial services, research & development and high-tech industries, his focus turned to Executive Search and HR Consulting for Gilman Partners (10 years) and RCSN since 2018. As the Vice President of Human Resources for Clopay Corporation, he had global responsibility for the company’s human resources activities at three divisions. She also tutors high school students in multiple math subjects and SAT math preparation. Julie is a magna cum laude graduate from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she double majored in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems.
Miriam conducts in depth research and identifies only the most relevant and qualified senior level and executive candidates for key corporate roles. She has 10 years of experience in research, auditing, and consulting in higher education, financial services, the pharmaceutical industry as well as the legal profession. Originally from California, Miriam started her professional career as a Senior Auditor and Project Advisor at UCLA. She transitioned to Experian as a Senior Internal Auditor and continued her career with Watson Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Internal Auditor and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Consultant. In 2005 she moved from California to Cincinnati, where she now utilizes her background and experience in data mining and database management as a Senior Research Associate for RCSN. She further extended her research expertise by obtaining a paralegal certification and works, on a part-time basis, for a local law firm.
Miriam holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Liberal Studies and Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University San Bernardino and a Paralegal Certification from the University of Cincinnati. She enjoys playing soccer and spends most of her free time coaching and supporting her children’s extracurricular activities.
Wendy’s career started with IBM, where she was a Systems Engineer providing technical field support to large companies. She then joined Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where she maintained the computer systems used at all military medical clinics.
For several years, she played a significant leadership role in the Air Force community. While being stationed in Germany with her husband, she volunteered her time to the Wounded Warriors, Fisher House, and supported a large group of spouses who were also stationed overseas.
She now taps into that collective knowledge and experience to identify candidates who fulfill RCSN’s client leadership needs. Wendy is a Texas Tech University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. She enjoys volunteering her time to her children’s school and extracurricular activities.
