Gayle joined RCSN Leadership Services as a Senior Leadership Consultant in December 2019. She is the Founder and Executive Consultant of Brock Consulting.
Gayle’s 20+ year career has been in executive management, training and leadership development. She has held positions as Executive Director of four Cincinnati YMCAs and Metropolitan Director, serving as liaison for the Cincinnati Association to the United Way, where she ensured leadership compliance for funding, program innovation and evaluation.
Gayle served 10 years as a Leadership Development Consultant with the national headquarters of the YMCA of the USA, Chicago. In this role, she guided CEOs/Executives and key association board members targeting PA, MD, DE and Washington DC. Her focus was on training, staff/professional development, board development, strategic planning, diversity & inclusion, program/facility/membership development and individual staff consultation centering on career mapping and personal development. Nationally, she led and managed achievement programs leading Staff Directors in the implementation of higher education initiatives. This resulted in the Y’s improving high school graduation and college access rates for students nationwide.
Gayle earned a Bachelor’s/Education and Masters’ Education/Exercise Physiology from the University of Cincinnati.
She holds Certificates in ‘The Coach Approach’ Leadership Coaching (Institute for Life Coach Training) and Minority Executive Development Mentoring (Emerging Minority Leadership Institute).
As a Trainer and Coach, her work has focused on Supervision, Group Work, Diversity and Inclusion, Organizational Skills, Time Management, Problem Solving-Conflict Resolution, Volunteerism and Training Others.
